Situation Description
The SmartPlayer platform supports interaction with various devices running different operating systems. Some devices do not require additional manipulations to install SmartPlayer, but there are certain devices that do not launch SmartPlayer when following the standard installation algorithm. One of these "unusual" devices is the Colorlight A35.
Required Software for Configuration
To install SmartPlayer software on the Colorlight A35 player, two programs are needed:
- PlayerMaster
- cli cloudSmart

Action Algorithm
- Connect the Colorlight A35 player via USB
- Update the player
- Configure the device using the Player Master program
- Configure the device using the cloudSmart program
- Return to Player Master and wait for the device registration code
Below is a more detailed description of each step.
Step 1: Connecting the Colorlight Player via USB
Initially, connect the player to the PC/laptop using a USB cable.
Step 2: Updating the Player
Download the update update_a35_v1.71.5.
For further actions, you need to install the "Player Master" program. Open the program and click on the button indicated in the screenshot below.
Select the update file in the compressed "ZIP" format.
Then monitor the update progress.
Next, wait for 3-5 minutes, and the player will restart. Connect the LAN cable (internet cable) to the player.
Another action is to connect the cable to a switch-router so that both devices are on the same network.
Step 3: Setting up the Device Using the Player Master Program
After completing the steps above, the Colorlight player will be recognized in the Player Master program.
You need to select the device (enter it within the program) and set the time zone.
Next, go to the "Program" section and create a playback zone.
In the next step, the content zone will open. You need to add any file.
Stretch this file to fill the entire zone and send it for publication.
A message will appear indicating the successful installation.
Exit the editor and check the playback in Player Master.
Go to the DIVICE menu, select CCT, and then go to Return.
The final step is to receive a notification that everything has been installed correctly.
Step 4: Setting up the Device Using the cloudSmart Program

Step 5: Returning to Player Master and Waiting for the Device Registration Code
The user returns to the Player Master program and waits for the registration code to appear.
Once the registration code appears, the setup of the Colorlight A 35 player is complete.
Instructions for Resetting the Colorlight A 35 Device to Factory Settings
Resetting the Colorlight A 35 device involves the following steps:
- Use any USB flash drive with a capacity of 4-8 GB.
- Format it to FAT-32 format.
- Name the USB flash drive: "RESETFACT"
- Insert the USB flash drive into the player.
- Reboot the player.
- When the player sound appears, you can remove the USB flash drive from the device.
- The device will restore factory settings.
