COM Port Configuration
When adding a COM port, the user needs to fill in all the fields in this block.
A system administrator on the user's side should assist with filling in the fields in the "Technical Parameters of COM Ports" block.
This block consists of the following parameters:
Port Name - the only parameter to be entered manually by the user.
The other parameters are drop-down menus with a list of specified values and descriptions of these values.
Data Transfer Rate
Description of the "Data Transfer Rate" parameter
Parity
Description of the "Parity" parameter
Data Bits
Description of the "Data Bits" parameter
Stop Bits
Description of the "Stop Bits" parameter
Flow Control
Description of the "Flow Control" parameter
Action Selection
Adding description of the "Action Selection" parameter
After setting all the parameters, it is necessary to click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom.
To delete the current COM port settings, use the trash can icon.
