Installation

SmartPlayer has experience running the client application on Ubuntu 16.04 (x32/x64), Ubuntu 18.04 (x64), and Ubuntu 20.04 (which was skipped by SmartPlayer and the client application was not run). Here, we recommend the latest current version, Ubuntu 22.04.04 LTS, for stable operation. If your project uses the outdated operating systems described above, we can build a distribution individually; please request it from the project manager.
