Advertisement Download Progress
Description of the Situation
The advertisement download progress functionality allows users to monitor how advertisements are downloaded to devices according to a schedule and how much time the process takes.
Prerequisites
To use this functionality, the user must create the required broadcast and assign it to a device. A schedule must also be configured on the device, and an advertisement must be prepared. All of this can be done using the available functionality of the SmartPlayer personal account. More information can be found in the Useful Information section below.
Procedure
To view advertisement download progress, the user must register or log in to the SmartPlayer personal account.
The next step is to navigate to the Devices section and select the required device by clicking on it.
After selecting the device, a control panel will open on the right side. In this panel, find the Downloads item and click it.
After clicking, a modal window will open displaying all advertisements being downloaded to the device in a table format.
The table consists of two columns: Name and Progress. In the Progress column, the user can see two available advertisement statuses:
- download in progress — the system displays the percentage of the advertisement that has been downloaded;
- download completed — the download process has finished and is marked with a green icon.
The user can also configure the Data Refresh parameter. The following refresh intervals are available:
- 5 seconds;
- 10 seconds;
- 15 seconds;
- 30 seconds;
- 60 seconds.
Each downloaded advertisement can be expanded by clicking on it to view the content that will be used during advertisement playback.
This functionality allows users to monitor advertisement download progress according to their content delivery requirements and tasks.
