Situation Description

The SmsartPlayer platform is evolving and gaining new, useful functionality. The ability to add firmware to the personal account is one such feature.

Action Algorithm

To obtain information about the power-on and power-off timers, the user needs to log in to the SmartPlayer personal account. The next step is to navigate to the "Devices" section and select the "Firmware List" category.

After entering the category, a new page with a list of firmware will open, where the user should click the "Upload Firmware" button in the upper right corner.

As a result, a modal window with a list of configuration parameters will appear. The parameters include:

  • Platform – select one platform from the preloaded list
  • Firmware Version – manually enter the version of the installed firmware
  • Firmware File – select the firmware file from local device storage
  • List of Supported Models – manually specify the list of supported models by pressing the "Enter" key

To complete the parameter setup, click the "Upload" button.

Next, the firmware upload process will begin, accompanied by a warning notification about the firmware being uploaded to the personal account.

Upon completion, the user will see the firmware added to the list.
