Using a PDF File as Content

Description of the Situation

To use a PDF file as content, the user must properly prepare it. This instruction will help users choose and use the appropriate tools to upload and utilize a PDF file as content within the SmartPlayer platform.

Action Algorithm

To use a PDF as content, the user needs to follow these steps:

• Use the web service "PDF2Go" (Free online PDF editor);

• In the service, select the option "Change PDF page size";

• Change the PDF page size and select "A5". Start the conversion process;

• Compress the resulting file using the "Compress PDF" tool;

• Download the resulting file.

Adding to a Broadcast

After downloading, the resulting content must be uploaded to the SmartPlayer personal account using drag-and-drop (drag it from local storage into the "Content" folder).
Then the user needs to go to the "Broadcast" section and create a new broadcast. After selecting the desired zone, add the "Document" format content to this zone. Once configuration is complete, assign the broadcast to a device and set the schedule.
