Updating the Client Application During Registration in the Personal Account
Description of the Situation
To improve user experience, a feature was added that allows users to update the client application when registering a device in the SmartPlayer personal account. Now, for a device that connects to the personal account for the first time and uses an outdated version of the client application, a prompt to update the client will appear during installation.
Action Algorithm
When the SmartPlayer client application is installed on a device for the first time, the user may see a prompt suggesting an update of the client application.
Clicking the "Update" button will start the process of updating the client application to the latest version. Once the update is complete, the user will be able to finish setting up the client and proceed to the new device registration window.
