Situation Description
The **content download in sleep mode** feature will be useful for users who have ready-made broadcasts with content that is updated daily (and therefore requires downloading). Activating this feature allows the content download process to run on devices while they are in sleep mode, relieving the user from manual work and saving time.
Preliminary Setup
To use this feature, it is recommended that the user prepares a broadcast in advance, with timers for turning on and off configured, as well as sleep mode enabled. Instructions for this can be found in the wiki pages under the “Related Information” section at the bottom of this page.
Action Algorithm
To use this feature, the user must log in or register on the SmartPlayer platform and follow the steps described above.
The next step is to go to the **Devices** section and select the desired device by clicking on it.

After selecting the device, a control panel will open on the right side of the screen. In this panel, the user must find and click the **Settings** section.

Next, the user will be taken to the device settings page. On this page, expand the **Sleep Mode** section and toggle the switch to the right to activate. This will enable the **Allow content download in sleep mode** feature for the selected device.

To complete the device setup, click the **Save Changes** button at the bottom of the screen.
