Situation Description

Inside the SmartPlayer platform, users have the ability to turn the device's display on and off through their personal account. This allows users to control device displays in online mode.

Currently, this is only applicable for Linux.

Operational Logic

Users can turn the device's display on and off at any time through the SmartPlayer platform via their personal account.
To do this, one needs to go to the "Devices" section and find the required online device.

By clicking on the "Settings" section, a comprehensive menu with settings will open for the user. From the list of settings that appear, the user needs to open the "Technical Parameters of COM Ports" block.

A system administrator on the user's side should assist with filling in the fields in the "Technical Parameters of COM Ports" block.

This block consists of the following parameters:

  • Port Name - the only parameter to be entered manually by the user.

The other parameters are drop-down menus with a list of specified values and descriptions of these values.

  • Data Transfer Rate
Description of the "Data Transfer Rate" parameter
  • Parity
Description of the "Parity" parameter
  • Data Bits
Description of the "Data Bits" parameter
  • Stop Bits
Description of the "Stop Bits" parameter
  • Flow Control
Description of the "Flow Control" parameter
  • Action Selection

After setting all the parameters, it is necessary to click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom.
