Kiosk Mode Enhancement
Situation Description
The functionality of the “Kiosk” mode has been improved and received new features. Users can now set up an automatic exit from kiosk mode using a code, as well as receive notifications and a timeout after three incorrect password entry attempts.
Action Algorithm
To configure kiosk mode, the user must register/log into the SmartPlayer personal account.
Next, go to the “Devices” section and find the desired device.

Then, click on the desired device to open the control panel (located on the right). In the control panel, select the “Settings” line.

In the “Settings” section, select the “Security” category and click to expand it. There, the user will find the new settings for kiosk mode.

Added Settings
The kiosk mode update added the following settings:
- toggle switch **“Use code to exit kiosk mode”** — enables/disables the code entry field both in the personal account and on the device;
- field **“Use code to exit kiosk mode”** — a numeric code input field. The default value is 95224;
- parameter **“Lockout time after three incorrect password attempts”** — a dropdown list allowing the user to set a timeout for code entry attempts. It activates when the number of incorrect attempts is exceeded. The current threshold is 3 incorrect attempts.
