Disabling Notifications

Windows 8

1. Press Win+R, enter command `regedit` and click "OK" button.
2. Navigate to following path: `HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer`
3. Find "Explorer" key or create it. To do this right-click on "Windows" key, select "New" > "Key" and name it "Explorer" (without quotes).
4. Open created "Explorer" key, right-click on right side of its window, click "New" and select "DWORD (32-bit)". Name it "DisableNotificationCenter" (without quotes).
5. Double-click newly created value and enter 1 in the field.
6. Restart computer. After this "Notification Center" should disappear.

Windows 10

1. Press Win+R, enter command `regedit` and click "OK" button.
2. Navigate to following path: `HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\PushNotifications`
3. Right-click in right part of editor and select create - DWORD 32-bit parameter. Name it `ToastEnabled` and leave value as 0 (zero).
4. Restart computer. After this "Notification Center" should disappear.
