Stopping Broadcast During Client Application Update
Situation Description
For devices with low technical specifications, the SmartPlayer development team has implemented functionality that allows automatic updating of the client application on weak devices via settings (while stopping the broadcast after the update is downloaded to the device), eliminating the need to reconfigure the broadcast playback on the device. After the update is completed, the device will automatically return to playing the assigned broadcast.
Step-by-Step Instructions
To use this functionality, the user must log in or register in the SmartPlayer personal account.
The next step is to go to the "Devices" section and find the required device. The user should click on the device to select it.

After selecting the device, a tools panel will appear on the right. In this panel, the user must find and click the "Settings" section.

In the "Settings" section, a new page will open with several settings blocks. The user should choose the "Automation Control" block.

The functionality can be enabled or disabled using a toggle switch. The user must choose the desired state of the function at the current moment.

Once the setup is completed, the user must click the "Save Changes" button in the bottom left corner of the screen.
