Situation Description

The SmartPlayer team has improved the system for displaying storage information in the personal account. Users can now view and understand detailed information about the device's storage.

Action Algorithm

To get up-to-date storage information, the device must be online.

To access storage information, the user must log in to the SmartPlayer personal account.
Next, the user needs to navigate to the “Devices” section.

Example of the “Devices” section in the personal account

Once in the "Devices" section, the user must select a device, and then locate the control panel on the screen. The control panel is located on the right.

Example of the device control panel

In the control panel, the user needs to find and open the “Information” section.

Example of the “Information” section

On the “Information” page, the user should scroll down to find the “Internal Storage” section.

Example of the “Internal Storage” section

The “Internal Storage” section is divided into two blocks:

  1. Storage used by the WhiteLabel client application.
  2. General OS data. Combined information from the operating system and client application.
Example of parameters in the “Internal Storage” section

Storage used by the WhiteLabel client application

This block contains information related to the operation of the client application and displays data on the amount of device memory reserved for White Label. It includes the following fields:

  1. Used by WhiteLabel client application — displays memory usage (in GB) by White Label while running the client app.
  2. Reserved by WhiteLabel client application for operation — shows the total memory value (in GB) reserved for White Label.

General OS data. Combined information from the operating system and client application

This block stores information about the total storage size and how it is segmented for device needs. It includes the following parameters:

  1. Storage size — the total memory capacity of the device.
  2. Used storage size — the amount of memory currently in use.
  3. Free storage size — the amount of remaining available memory.
