Device Statuses

Situation Description

In the SmartPlayer personal account, users can always track the status of their devices. Below on the page, the available device statuses on the SmartPlayer platform will be described in detail.

Action Algorithm

To view device statuses, the user must log in or register in the SmartPlayer personal account.
The next step is to navigate to the "Devices" section of the personal account.

Next, in the top right corner, the user needs to find the “Device Statuses” line with the information icon (exclamation mark in a circle) and click on it.

After clicking, a status legend with descriptions will open.

Each status will be described in more detail in the next section.

Available Device Statuses

In the SmartPlayer personal account, the following device statuses are available:

  1. Online — the device is connected to the network. Indicated by bright green color.
  2. Screen off — the device is not powered off, but the screen brightness is set to 0. Indicated by dark green color.
  3. Sleep mode — the device is in sleep mode. Indicated by black color.
  4. Ping connection with server application — the device is reachable by the server application using a ping command. Indicated by light green color.
  5. Offline — the device is not connected to the network. Indicated by gray color.
  6. Updating — the device is currently being updated. Indicated by yellow color.
  7. Error — an error was detected on the device that disrupts its functionality. Indicated by red color.
