Situation Description

On this page, the user can ознакомиться with the **Content Playback Frequency** functionality, which is used to configure the playback of multiple content items within a single broadcast. This functionality allows configuring content and its display within a single broadcast page.

Action Algorithm

In order to use the **Content Playback Frequency in a Broadcast** functionality, the user must register/log in to the SmartPlayer personal account.
Next, go to the **Broadcasts** section and select the **Create** category.

Example of displaying the “Broadcasts” section and the “Create” tab

After opening the **Create** tab, the broadcast creation window will appear. In this window, the user must create a zone where the content will be placed.

Example of displaying the “Add zone” icon

In the created zone, the user must add content (for example, an image or a video) by dragging it from the content list on the right side of the screen.

Example of adding content

After adding content to the zone, the user must click on the content. This is required to open the content settings control panel, which will replace the content list on the right side of the screen with content configuration parameters.

Example of displaying content settings

For the content playback frequency configuration to work correctly, it is necessary to uncheck (remove the checkmark from) **“Place content continuously over time (auto calculation)”**. This action will allow the user to work directly with time intervals without system interference.

Next, click the **Save** button at the bottom of the screen to apply the settings.

Now the user needs to add another content item to the same broadcast page. The added content will be displayed at the bottom of the screen under the broadcast zone. This area will show the current and the newly added content.

After selecting the next content item, the user must click on it again in the broadcast zone to return to the broadcast settings configuration. Then the user needs to go to the **Content Settings** block.

Example of displaying the “Content Settings” block

In this block, find and click the **Add** button under the **Content Playback Frequency** parameter.

Content Playback Frequency Configuration

After clicking the **Add** button for the **Content Playback Frequency** parameter, a modal window with configuration parameters will open.

Example of the modal window with parameters

In this window, the user can configure the following parameters:

  • page duration — allows viewing the current duration of content in the broadcast;
  • number of content items displayed on the page — shows the current number of content items on the broadcast page;
  • play content every interval — the user can manually specify the playback interval for the content added to the page and select the time unit. Available units: seconds, minutes, hours;
Example of a field with time unit selection
  • playback start/end — allows selecting the playback start and end type from the list. Two options are available: **“From the start of the broadcast to the end”** and **“Manual settings”** (a configurable option that adds two active fields for editing);
Example of selecting playback type from the list
  • playback start — allows manually setting the start time for inserting content into the broadcast. Available only for manual configuration;

  • playback end — allows manually setting the end time for content playback in the broadcast. Available only for manual configuration.

The additional description under the parameters informs the user that when an announcement (configured content with playback frequency) is played, it will interrupt the playback of the main content in the broadcast in order to start the added announcement (the second content item added to the broadcast page).

To complete the parameter configuration, the user must click the **Apply** button at the bottom of the modal window.
