Role Matrix in the SmartPlayer Personal Account

Situation Description

The SmartPlayer personal account now includes the ability to view all roles available to a user's company. This functionality allows users to download the role matrix in `.xlsx` format and review available roles.

Action Algorithm

First, the user needs to register/log in to the SmartPlayer personal account.
The next step is to navigate to the "Users" section and select the "Roles" category.

In the opened "Roles" category window, the user needs to find and click the "Download role matrix" line.

After clicking, the `.xlsx` file download process containing the list of available roles will begin.

Role and Functionality Matrix

After downloading the matrix to the user’s local device, it can be opened using Microsoft Excel and reviewed. The content includes:

  • Role name — displayed in bold and available in two languages (RU/EN);
  • List of action types — located under the role name. Four types are available: Create, Read, Update, and Delete;
  • System elements — represented as columns with the functionality name. Functional access is also divided into the four types above and is marked with color indication and a special availability symbol (see "Legend" below).

Legend

The role matrix table includes visual indicators of functionality availability for each role. Indicators include:

  • Green cell with a “+” symbol — functionality is available for the role;

  • Yellow cell with a “~” symbol — functionality is available only upon prior request to the SmartPlayer team;

  • Red cell with a “-” symbol — functionality is not available for this role.
