Description of the Situation

For each device in the SmartPlayer personal account, it is possible to export device information into a separate `.xlsx` file. The key update of this functionality is the ability to export information about the use of the “Synchronization” mode on the device.

The export works both for a single device and for multiple devices.

Preliminary Settings

To include device information in the export file, the user must go to the “Devices” section and select the required device by clicking on it (the device background will be highlighted in gray).

Example of the “Devices” section and a selected device in the SmartPlayer personal account

A device control panel will appear on the right side of the screen. In this panel, locate the “Settings” line and click on it.

Next, the device settings page will open. The user needs to find the “Content” category and expand it by clicking.

Within the expanded section, toggle the “Synchronize content” parameter. To enable exporting synchronization information, set the parameter to “Yes”. By default, devices have this parameter set to “No”.

A short description is available under the parameter name and is recommended for reading.

After configuring this parameter, click the “Save changes” button at the bottom center of the screen. The setting will now be active for the selected device.

If multiple devices are to be exported, repeat the steps above for each device.

Action Algorithm

To use this functionality, the user must register/log in to the SmartPlayer platform.
Next, go to the “Devices” section and select one or multiple devices using the checkbox (tick) at the top of each device icon.

After selection, the list of selected devices will appear on the right side of the screen. Above the list, there is a “Select action” field. Clicking it opens a list of available actions.

In the opened list, select the “Export devices” option.
