Description of the Situation

The “Device Logs” section of the SmartPlayer personal account contains information about logs exported from user devices. The device logs allow centralized collection, storage, and export of device logs.

Action Algorithm

The user must register/log in to the SmartPlayer personal account.
Next, navigate to the “Devices” section and find the corresponding category in the list displayed on the left side of the screen.

Page Content

The device logs page includes the following information:

  • status — displays a color indication of the upload process. Three statuses are available: in progress, uploaded, canceled;
  • name — the name of the device from which the export was performed;
  • start date — the date and time when the export started;
  • end date — the date and time when the export finished;
  • deletion time — displays the date and time when the log will be removed from the device logs (set on the device before export);
  • progress — displays a textual description of the upload process. Three statuses are available: in progress, uploaded, canceled;
  • log type — displays information about the type of exported logs. Two options are available: full — complete logs of the device for the entire operating time, actual — logs for a specific time period.

Statuses of Exported Tasks (Logs)

All exported tasks can be divided into the following types:

  1. In progress — a task (log) that is currently being generated. Indicated by an empty circle and the corresponding value in the “Progress” column.
  2. Canceled — a task (log) that was canceled during the upload process. Indicated by a yellow circle and has the corresponding status in the “Progress” column.
  3. Uploaded — a task (log) that has been fully generated on the server and uploaded to the personal account. Indicated by a green circle and has the corresponding status in the “Progress” column.

Log archives are stored for 24 hours. After that, they are automatically deleted.

Bulk Selection of Tasks

The user can select multiple tasks (logs) at once using checkboxes. All selected tasks will appear in the upper-right part of the screen, and a control panel for the selected tasks will open.

Example of selected tasks (logs)

After selecting the required tasks (logs), the user can perform the following actions:

  1. Download — click the line to start exporting logs to the user's device.
  2. Delete — click the line to remove the selected tasks.

Name of Exported Logs

Logs exported from the personal account now have a clear name that can be divided into logical parts.
Example name: Test Tech Write_2026226644.
In this name:

  • Test Tech Write — device name;
  • 2026 — year of log export;
  • 226 — month and day of log export (2 — February, 26 — day of the month);
  • 644 — time of log export (time is in UTC, so it may differ from the device’s local time).
