Disabling notifications

Windows 8

1. Press Win + R, enter the "regedit" command and click on the "OK" button.
2. Navigate to the following path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ SOFTWARE \ Policies \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Explorer
3. Find the "Explorer" key, or create one. To do this, right-click on the Windows key, choose New> Key and name it Explorer (without quotes).
4. Open the created key "Explorer", right-click on the right side of its window, click on "New" and select "DWORD (32-bit)". Name it "DisableNotificationCenter" (without quotes).
5. Double click on the value you just created and enter 1 in the field.
6. Restart your computer. After that "Action Center" should disappear.

Windows 10

1. Press Win + R, enter the "regedit" command and click on the "OK" button.
2. Navigate to the following path: HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ PushNotifications
3. Right click on the right side of the editor and select New - 32 bit DWORD parameter. Name it ToastEnabled and leave 0 (zero) as the value.
4. Restart your computer. After that "Action Center" should disappear.
