Материал из SmartPlayer
Версия для печати больше не поддерживается и может содержать ошибки обработки. Обновите закладки браузера и используйте вместо этого функцию печати браузера по умолчанию.

Description of the Situation

This functionality allows users to add their own fonts as text content. This expands customization capabilities for broadcasts with “Text” content.

Algorithm of Actions

To use this functionality, the user must register or log in to the SmartPlayer personal account.
Next, go to the “Content” section and select the “Text” content type.

Example of the “Content” section and “Text” content type

After opening the text content page, the user needs to open the list of available fonts by clicking.

Example of the list of available fonts

In this list, by scrolling to the last position, the user will see the option “Add your own font”.

Example of the “Add your own font” option

After clicking this option, a modal window will open. In this window, the user can:

  • upload a new font from a local device (via the “Select” button);
  • select an uploaded font using a checkbox. Save it (via the button) or delete it (via the icon).
Example of interaction with fonts in the modal window

The uploaded font will be added to the end of the font list. By selecting it with a checkbox and clicking the “Save” button, the user can use this font as content.

Details and nuances of functionality

This section provides information about some non-obvious aspects of how the functionality works:

  • the font list includes free preloaded fonts bundled with the server application;
  • fonts can be uploaded by users with roles starting from Broadcast Administrator and above in the role hierarchy;
  • if a user needs text content with a specific font style (bold, italic, etc.), each style must be found and uploaded as a separate file.
