Creating a role for working with announcements

Description of the Situation

Users of the SmartPlayer platform can now create a separate role for working with announcements. Role configuration allows proper distribution and setting of restrictions for working with the functionality.

Algorithm of Actions

First, the user must register or log in to the SmartPlayer personal account.
Next, go to the “Users” section and the “Roles” category.

In the “Roles” category, click the “Add role” button in the upper-left part of the screen.

After clicking, a page with a list of available roles will open. From this list, select the “Announcements” row and expand it.

A page will open where the user can:

  • enable “Creation” of broadcasts;
  • view existing announcements in the company and configure available functionality for the role.

Available functionality for working with announcements via role

If announcements exist in the SmartPlayer personal account, the following actions can be enabled (by clicking the icons) for interaction with announcements via the role (enabled icons are highlighted in blue):

  • read (view);
  • update (edit);
  • delete.
